ABSTRACT

In this study 50 type 1 diabetic patients and 50 healty control subjects were evaluated for allergıc disorders with regard to medical history and skin prick tesıs. In the diabetic group altlıough 60 % of the patients reported allergic symptoms, the skin test positivity was found 22%. In the control group prick tests were posıtive 34% of the patients although thay dıd not have allergic complaints. We did not find a statistı­cally significant difference between groups.
