ABSTRACT

The aim of this study is to detect ineidence of LJMS and carpal tunnel syndrom, dupuytren's contracture in type I Diabetes mellitus. This study was carried on with 40 patients with Type I diabetes mellitus and 30 healthy controls. Finger joint contractures, MCP joint extension, wrist range of motion have been examined in all patients and control group. In Type I diabetes mellitus group were found in 23 patients (57%) LJMS, in 12 patients (30%) carpal tunnel sendrom, in 4 patients (10%) Dupuytren's contracture.
