ABSTRACT

The non-Hodghin's lymphoma which arise from tissue other then lymph nodes are referred to as primary ekstranodal lymphomas. The gastrointestinal truct is the most common site of presentation. Trioid, lung, skin, conconctiva, breast and renal involvements are rare. Herein we discussed a primary, low-grade marginal zone gastric lymphoma patient who presented with soft tissue and breast involvement.

Case:

69 years old woman, having a growing mass on the left hypogastrium has underwent mass excision. Pathology revealed low-grade marginal zone lymphoma. During staging, thoracal CT showed nodules in both breasts. Biopsy of the nodule, again showed low-grade margina/ zone lymphoma. No further treatment was suggested for breast lymphoma. After a gastrointestinal bleeding, gastroscopic biopsy revealed low-grade marginal zone lymphoma.

Conclusion:

Before the dignose of ekstranodallymphoma, it is recommended to control the gasrointestinal system. If low-grade marginal zone lymphoma is restricted only to breast, mastectomy, radiation therapy or chemotherapy are not recommended. Helicobacter pylori eradication is the first choise of therapy in the low-grade marginal zone gastric lymphoma.
