ABSTRACT

Renalleiamyoma is rare, benign tumors of the kidney and the majority ofthese tumors are discovered incidentally at autopsy. Reportedfrequency of approximately 5%. Both kidneys are affected egually; however, leimyomas are fo und in the lower po le in al most three quarters of patients. Most of the tumors are asymptomatic. Symptomatic leiomymoas can present as a pappable abdominal or flank mass with associated pain, fever and hematuria. They usually arise from smooth muscle cells of the renal capsule, renal cortical vessels, and pelvicalyceal system. We reporta case which the turnar was at the right kidney and capsular with litterature review.
