ABSTRACT
Patients with Ankylosing Spondylitis referring to our depart· ment between the years of 1985 and 1988 were observed and classified according to their age, sex, elinical findings and radiographic features. Comparisons with similar studies were made. In conclusion; 96.82% of the patients were male. First symptoms were lowback pain and sciatica syndrome. The most consistent radiographic features were sacroileitis and syndesmophyte. The HLA-B27 antigen was found in 92% of the patients.
