ABSTRACT

Laboratory data are routinely expressed numerically without comments on their uncertainty. The estimation of reference limits, and the evaluation of biological variability need to be improved at the level of procedures, which are currently too long and too expensive and not feasible easily for all laboratories. In this study influence of preanalytical variables on laboratory results were reviewed.
