ABSTRACT

In this study 63 patients, undergone peptic ulcer operations, have been evaluated for alkaline reflux gastritis. We applied, gastroscopy and biopsy from the remoining gastric stump and cholesintigraphy to all our patients and they were evaluated with respect to "Visick" criteria. It has been concluded that the best operation for alkaline reflux gastritis is Billrath-I procedure and the best diagnostic criteria for alkaline reflux gastritis is Billrath-I procedure and the best diagnostic criteria for alkaline reflux gastritis is biopsy from the remaining gastric stump.
