ABSTRACT

Dermatomyositis isa rare connective tissue·disease which ıs characterized by skin lesions and it is an idiopathic injlammatory myopathy. The diagnostic criteria of the disease are progressive weakness of the proxymal extremity muscles, elevated creatine kinase (CK) levels, myopathic electromyographic (EMG) findings and abnormal findings in muscle biopsy and typical skin manifestations.
