The mucinousis of the breası is very rare. It is almost always localized under the nipple. It is characterized by the accumulation of degenerative mueinous material aggregates which separate the stromal ce/ls of the nipple.
In it's histology, partially vascu/ar and hypocelluler tumoral/ike lesion characterized by abundant mueinous material accumulation that is pal e basophilic, pseudolobuler in structure between collagen fiber s in the dermis, not containing epitelial elements, with scattered fusiform ce/ls is seen. The mucinous material is found histochemically as Aleian Blue ( + ). In young patients, nodular mucinousis should also be thought in the mueinous lesions wıth the nipple localization. Mucocele /ike lesions and mucinuous careinamas are espeeially important in the differentional diagnosis of the nodular mucinousis.
