Anesthesical Management of Marfan Syndrome: A Case Report

The Maifan Syndrome is a heritable disorder of connective tissue involving the skeletal and cardiovaskular systems. It's an otosomal dominant disorder and its prevalance is 4-10 to 100.000 cases. Management of anesthesia for Marfan Syndrome has specific precautions for valvular heart diseases, thoracic aortic aneurysm and skeletal laxicity. We can see pectus excavatum, kyphoscoliosis or subluxation of temporomandi­bular junction. We must be careull in in tubation and be alerted for hyper or hypotension.
