Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy (LC) is preferable than Conuentional Cholecystectomy (CC), because of reducing time to stay at hospital, to return to normal actiuity and being physicosocial comfort. In this prospectiue study, we eualuated all LC cases between March 1995- January 1996, in our department. As a result, we concluded that LC with a mean hospital s tay of 1. 7 day s, the physcological effect of disease curing 7 days and approximately operating time is 50 minutes. Conclusion, we suggested that LC should be prefered to symptomatic cholelithiasis cases.
