In our study, 31 subjects having right bundle branch black (RBBB) and 19 subjects having left bundle branch black (LBBB) (total50 subjects) were compareti by the findings of transtorosic echocardiography and 24 hours Halter electrocardiography. All of the subjects, who were aged between 30-80, comıng to our outpatient clinics were choosen in random. There was no statistically significant difference between RBBB and LBBB subjects in terms of ejection fraction, left ventricle end-systolic and end-diasto/ic diameters, ınterventricular septum and left ventricular posterior wall thickness. There was alsa no signıficant difference between the two groups in terms of aort stenosis, aort regurgitation, left atrium enlargement and right ventricular enlargement seen by transtomsic echocardiography. In LBBB group, subjects who have mitral regurgitation and in RBBB group subjects who have tricuspid regurgitation were statistica/ly higher and sıgnificant. There were no significant difference between two groups for QRS duratıon, the longest (PP) duration or (RR) duration, sinus bradycardia, atrialfibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, sinoatrial blocks, atrioventricular blocks, wandering pacemaker, the R on T phenomenon, AV junctional rhythm and idioventricular rhythm found by the results of 24 hours Ho/ter electrocardiography. On the other hand, in RBBB group, the number of subjects who have supraventricular tachycardia was significantly higher.

In conclusion, as the re is no significant difference in terms of the parameters except mitral regurgitation, tricuspit regurgıtation and supraventricular tachycardia frequency it is not recomended to do transtorasic echocardiography and Holter electrocardiography to compare the subjects (as long as they are clinically stable and asymptomatic) who have RBBB and LBBB.
