Parathyroid hormone plays an important role in the regulation of bone metabolism. (1) Bone mineral density (BMD) has be en show n to be increased in postmenapousal women with posthyroidectomy especially at tumbar spine. (2)The purpose of this case report is to deseribe the importance and approch for evaluating a patient with high bone mineral density.
