Choreoathetosis is a complex, hyperkinetic, irregular, sudden and short lasting motility disorder accompained with curling and tiwisting result of some hereditary and developmental causes, may be caused by some metabolic problems, such as hypoglycemia. In hypoglycemic patients, the clinical presentation of disesase depedends on severity and duration of hypoglycemia. In these patients seizure, chorea amnesia an deven death can be seen. As a result of hypoglycemia some changes occur in this brain, especially in basal ganglia, cerebral cortex, substantia nigra and hyppocampus, choreoathetotic movements are seen due to lesions of basal ganglia, especially of putamen and in dama-ges of corpus lysis.
