Aspergilloma is a disease that commonly develops in healed tuberculosis cavities. Aspergilloma is diagnosed in some patients who are treated in thoracic surgery clinics because of hemoptysis. It is an opportunistic infection developing on the basis of a chronic infection, mainly tuberculosis. Surgery is an important option for the treatment of aspergilloma. The purpose of our study was to evaluate the efficacy of surgery on the long-term survival of a patient with aspergilloma.
